On December 20, 1999, China reclaimed Macau afther 442 years of Portuguese rule effectively ending the colonial era in Asia.
Macau is 96 % Chinese and 2 % Portuguese with Cantonese the most commonly spoken dialect .
My husband bought this in the month of March 2006 during our holiday in Macao.
