China Airlines 中华航空公司 is the flag carrier of the Republic of China ( Taiwan ).
The airline is not a state-owned corporation nominully,but belong to China Aviation Development Foundation. However, the foundation belongs to the goverment of the Republic of China.
The chairman does not have to report to the Legislative Yuan, unlike the state-owned company in Taiwan.
The airline,base at Chiang Kai Shek International Airport and with headquartes in Taipei.
It currently flies to many distinations in Asia Europe, North America and the South Pacific.
Because of political obstacles over the establishment of the Three Links, it does not have regularly scheduled flights into Mainland China, passengers to mainland China must go through Hong Kong transferring to another airline.
Its main competitor is EVA Air.
China Airlines has a poor reputations for safety, often blamed on poor maintenance and lack of emphasis on safety.

On March 9th,2006 my husband and I went to Hong Kong for holidays. We went there for 5 days trip. Our flight takes 3 hours from Malaysia airport to Hong kong airport,
This rows have 6 seats. 3 seats on the right hand side and 3 seats on the left hand side.

The seat is not very big , the oxygen inside the plane is not strong enought that sometimes I suffer from ear sound.

We stay in Hong Kong 4 days and 1 night. On the next day we went to Macao,
We went there by ferry hydrofoil.

This is ferry hydrofoil where we must take from Kowloon ( Hong Kong sea port ) to Macao ( sea port )
It takes 1 hours to reached at Macao port.
Macao is a small territory on the Southern coast of China.
Ferry service by hydrofoil to and from Hong Kong is available 24 hours a day. Seven days a week. Most gambles comes from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Toursim is important, with many visitors attracted to Macaus numerous casinos, and travelling via the regular hydrofoil services from Hong Kong.

This is where we are inside ferry hydrofoil. It is quiet big ,clean and we can buy drinks or small snackers during our journey. It takes 1 hours when the weather is not so stormy.

Macao

We reached at Macao port afther 1 hours journey.This place where the custom from Macao checking our luagage.
Macao 澳门 , Portuguese Macau.
Macao is a small territory on the Southern coast of China. Administered by Portugal until 1999 it was the oldest European colony in China, dating to the 16 th century .
Macao has played a unique and influenticel role in relation between China and the West, especially between the late 16 th and 19 th century.
Residents of Macao mostly speak Cantonese natively.
Macau`s biggest attraction is gambling industry and casinos. Though many form of gambling are legal here.

We have our lunch in one of the restaurant in Macao. We are from all parts of countries.We pay our one day fees and our tourist guide take showing the scenery of Macao.
On our table we have 1 glass of red wine where Macau pupulation mostly drink during their lunch or dinner.

The religon in the region ( Macao ) is Buddhist, with a small Catholic minority.
The official language is Portuguese with Cantonese als spoken.
Macao,a fishing village populated by Chinese over four thousand years ago, was gradually occupied by the Portuguese in 1557.

Tourism is important, with many visitors arrtacted to Macau`s numerous casinos, Trade is the mainstay the economy. Macao is a free port and exports ,include textiles, fireworks, toy , electronic goods and clothing.
The history of Macau was first established as a Portugese trading and missionary post in the Far East 1537.
A Portugese trading post was established here in 1557 and become a free port in 1849.

Teh residents of Macau mostly speak Cantonese.

On December 20,1999, China reclaimed Macau afther 442 years of Portuguese rule effectively ending the colonial era in Asia.
Macau is 96 % Chinese and 2 % Portuguese with Cantonese the most commonly spoken dialect.

This is our last journey to Macao , we reached back to Hong Kong late at night.
We have to take ferry hydrofoil back to Kowloon port ( Hong Kong ).
I like Macao because of the nice environment and the place is clean.They are not many vehicles . The air is not so polluted.

I like this lady because she knows how to guide us and telling a interesting story. She is middle 40 but still fit and full of energy. She has been to this occupation for over 20 years.
Thank you for giving us a nice welcome to Macao.
I love Macao and hoping one day to visit this country again.
