Genthing Highlands is the most developed of the hill resorts in Malaysia, and was founded in 1965.
Genting Highlands is a peak on the Titiwangsa mountains in Peninsular Malysia. It is 2,000 metres above sea level is a magnificent city on the hill top and approached either from the state of Selangor or Pahang.
It can be reached by car or by the fastest moving cabel car of South East Asia which travels at the speed of 6 m/s. It is sometimes know as the Las Vegas of Malaysia as it is the only land based casino in Malaysia. The casinos are run by the Genting Group.
The temperatures between 16 and 23 degrees provide natural air conditioning.

We go to Genting Highland on 12th of April 2006
We have to wake up early in the morning 5.30 am , from there we started our journey.
The fees is 28 ringgit inclusive food voucher ( 10 ringit) and cable car ( 5 ringgit to and fro ).

We have our rest and breakfast after er our long journey from Ipoh.
These place Batang Kali , roughtly about 30 minutes we reached Genting Highland , from there we have to take cable car to to go on the hill top of Genting Hghland.

Carble car in Genting Highland

Skyway is the the tallest and langest carble car system in South East Asia.
Each cable car loaded 8 persons who are supposed to be pay for the journey (5) RM respectively.
It take roughtly 20 minutes to reached on the hill top.

Besides, the casion, there are a some golf courses, on the Genting Highland for those who love it. There are also the thema part with a roller coaster and a carting.

A cabel car is any of a variety of transportation system relying on cables to pull vehicles along or lower them at a steady rate or a vehicle on these systems.

It is roughtly about 6.00 pm when we went back home, We have to take cable car again in order to go down the hill.
We reached home in Ipoh roughtly about 11.30 pm.

China Airlines 中华航空公司 is the flag carrier of the Republic of China ( Taiwan ).
The airline is not a state-owned corporation nominully,but belong to China Aviation Development Foundation. However, the foundation belongs to the goverment of the Republic of China.
The chairman does not have to report to the Legislative Yuan, unlike the state-owned company in Taiwan.
The airline,base at Chiang Kai Shek International Airport and with headquartes in Taipei.
It currently flies to many distinations in Asia Europe, North America and the South Pacific.
Because of political obstacles over the establishment of the Three Links, it does not have regularly scheduled flights into Mainland China, passengers to mainland China must go through Hong Kong transferring to another airline.
Its main competitor is EVA Air.
China Airlines has a poor reputations for safety, often blamed on poor maintenance and lack of emphasis on safety.

The seat is not very big , the oxygen inside the plane is not strong enought that sometimes I suffer from ear sound.

On March 9th,2006 my husband and I went to Hong Kong for holidays. We went there for 5 days trip. Our flight takes 3 hours from Malaysia airport to Hong kong airport,
This rows have 6 seats. 3 seats on the right hand side and 3 seats on the left hand side.

This is ferry hydrofoil where we must take from Kowloon ( Hong Kong sea port ) to Macao ( sea port )
It takes 1 hours to reached at Macao port.
Macao is a small territory on the Southern coast of China.
Ferry service by hydrofoil to and from Hong Kong is available 24 hours a day. Seven days a week. Most gambles comes from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Toursim is important, with many visitors attracted to Macaus numerous casinos, and travelling via the regular hydrofoil services from Hong Kong.

We went there by ferry hydrofoil.

This is where we are inside ferry hydrofoil. It is quiet big ,clean and we can buy drinks or small snackers during our journey. It takes 1 hours when the weather is not so stormy.

Macao is a small territory on the Southern coast of China. Administered by Portugal until 1999 it was the oldest European colony in China, dating to the 16 th century .
Macao has played a unique and influenticel role in relation between China and the West, especially between the late 16 th and 19 th century.
Residents of Macao mostly speak Cantonese natively.
Macau`s biggest attraction is gambling industry and casinos. Though many form of gambling are legal here.

We have our lunch in one of the restaurant in Macao. We are from all parts of countries.We pay our one day fees and our tourist guide take showing the scenery of Macao.
On our table we have 1 glass of red wine where Macau pupulation mostly drink during their lunch or dinner.

The Ruins of Saints Paul`s one of the main historical tourist attraction of Macau.


Tourism is important, with many visitors arrtacted to Macau`s numerous casinos, Trade is the mainstay the economy. Macao is a free port and exports ,include textiles, fireworks, toy , electronic goods and clothing.
The history of Macau was first established as a Portugese trading and missionary post in the Far East 1537.
A Portugese trading post was established here in 1557 and become a free port in 1849.

This is our last journey to Macao , we reached back to Hong Kong late at night.
We have to take ferry hydrofoil back to Kowloon port ( Hong Kong ).
I like Macao because of the nice environment and the place is clean.They are not many vehicles . The air is not so polluted.

I like this lady because she knows how to guide us and telling a interesting story. She is middle 40 but still fit and full of energy. She has been to this occupation for over 20 years.

This is my Christine receipe " Fried bean with oster sauce "

INGREDIENTS

1 small carrot
1 small onion,wedged
1/2 small red pepper
1 tbs oyster sauce
1/2 tbs sugar
2 T Olive oil
1/2 pakage long bean
1 T black sauce


METHOD:

1. Heat 2 Tablespoon Olive oil in wok, cook onions on high heat for 1/2 min.
2. Add all other ingredients, except blace sauce. Allow to cook until done.
3. After fried add black sauce.
4. Serve hot.

Lion dance in chinese word is 舞狮 a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture ,in which perfomers mimic the lion`s movements in a lion costume.
The lion costume may be operated by a single dance, who spring about while energeticlly moving and shaking the head and operating the jaws and eyes, or by a pair of dancers, forming the back and fore legs of the beast.
The dance is traditionally accompanied by gong, drums and firecrackers, representing the descents of good luck. 新年开心

This is my father and mother. This photos was taken at Genting Highland on the month of April 2006. I take them to visit this place for one day. We went there by bus from Ipoh direct to Genting Highland. The cost of the fees is 28 ringgit . Inclusive cable car and 10 ringgit for food Voucher .When we took cable car, surprising my parents do not scare. They sit on the cable car and looking down and up without a words. They do not say anything. As for me I really scared. Actually it is quite dangerous , The cable car go up and up, It takes 20 minutes to reached at the peak of mountain. But I feel like 1 hours during the journy inside cable car. I think no more second time to take this cable car................................
The weather at that time is not very cold. My parents and I do not gambling we went there only to have fresh air. My parents do not go there for a fews years already. They say nothing changes. Only on the other side of the building with shop lot and children park.
My father now is 78 years old and my mother is 73 years old.
My mother likes journey, she wish that she has caravan so that she can travel everywhere and sleep inside caravan. But she only go to Thailand and Singapore only. What a pity !
My father is very hard working young man. He keeps the house clean and he likes to plant flowers.
Mostly his flowers are very blooming. He is the best father I ever have. I love my parents.
Now both of them taking care each other. They company each other whenever they going out for shopping. My father likes to see News and document but my mother likes to see Chinese serie. She likes to eat buah buahan. Papaya, rambutan, banana.............

This is my auntie, my mother big sister, now she is staying with her lovely daughter in KL. Last time she stayed in Malaka and her occupation is a nurse. She has two children, both of them are girls. They are grown up and have their own occupation. Her husband is recently passed away. Her elder daughter is very nice and very hard working young lady. I like her so do my parents.
I visit auntie this year during my vocation on the months of March 2006. I think I did not see her nearly over 35 years. It is a long time , right.
My mother likes her sister and they always contact through telephone. A lot of topic to talk. My father tells me that both of them talk with the language Hainam. I like to listen this Hainam language but I do not know how to talk. What a pity !!!!

This is my parents in law. They are good parents in law. This photos was taken during Chinese New Year in the year 2004. We took this photos in Ipoh . We have to book earlier for the table seat because Chinese New Year is fully book. Actually we went there in second Chinese New Year , mostly Chinese New Year Eve we stayed at home and eat in round table with relative.
My father in law is my teacher during my study at primary school. He teaches me sport ( Bakset ball ) and science. I do not very good in Basketball but I can run fast. This primary school is located at Simpang Pulai, one of the school in Ipoh. This school is still there but now I hardly know one of the teacher , all is with new faces.
My mother in law is working in this school too. She is doing the cleaning. She is very hard working lady and she likes to cook. She like to dress nicely when going out for dinner or shopping. She has cheong sam dress. I like to see her with this dress. She has the taste of wearing dress . Now both of them is old but they are still fit and both of them love each other and take care of each other. They have a lot of topic to talk. She has been to a lot of countries. She enjoys her life and every morning around 4 o`clock in the morning she wakes up and do Tai Chi.
She is very rajin.
They have 3 children. 2 boys and 1 girl.
God bless them for their helping hand to others.

I like to ear here becuse the Dim Sum is very good to tast.We have been to this restaurant since 22 years already. When we first step in German we already go to this place for our Dim Sum. This morning around 9.30 ´clock I wake up and quickly go for joging, becuase if I still sleeping I will get lazy to do exercise. Ya I like to sleep .
